Lady Gaga is under fire after wearing a bra featuring plastic guns during a recent concert, all while the nation wrestles to curb gun violence in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
On Friday, Gaga took the stage wearing a gun bra while performing at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada for the “Born This Way Ball” tour, according to GossipCop. The bra’s cups featured two fake, plastic automatic rifles.

Retail giant Walmart pledged Jan. 15 to hire any returning military veteran that wants a job with the company.
Walmart U.S. CEO Bill Simon told a retail conference in New York City the company expects to hire 100,000 veterans over the next five years, one of the largest-ever hiring commitments of former military personnel.
“We believe Walmart is already the largest private employer of veterans in the country, and we want to hire more,” Simon said. “Hiring a veteran can be one of the best decisions any of us can make…Veterans have a record of performance under pressure. They’re quick leaders and they’re team players.”

A New York State Senator has lambasted the passing of what is being called the nation’s toughest gun control bill, saying that it was introduced during the middle of the night, and that members were forced to vote on the legislation when they had not even had a chance to read it.
“I simply cannot support a bill that turns law abiding citizens into criminals by creating an entire new category of illegal firearms out of currently legal rifles and shotguns,” said Senator Greg Ball in a statement.

St. Pierre was hired by NORML’s Board of Directors in 1991 when he worked as a Communications Director for the organization. He gradually rose through the ranks, becoming the Deputy National Director in 1993. When the NORML Foundation was created in 1997, St. Pierre was chosen to be its Executive Director. The NORML Foundation is a sister organization of NORML that works “to better educate the public about marijuana and marijuana policy options, and to assist victims of the current laws”.
St. Pierre has been the Executive Director of NORML since January 2005. He is the seventh person to be NORML’s Executive Director. He also serves on the Board of Directors of NORML and the NORML Foundation.
